In the business of
design & construction since 1976, Terry Johnson has
acquired hands-on experience in all phases of the residential
and light commercial development process. He has been involved
with hundreds of conventional, log and timber framed projects.
Terry's credits and credentials include:

- Designer,
builder and/or manager of projects ranging from pro bono community
work to a $4.5 million private recreational facility. Projects
include renovation and new construction of conventional, timber
framed and log homes; offices and apartments; stores and restaurants;
municipal, agricultural and historic buildings, and parks.
- Projects
designed for flood plains, waterfronts and other sensitive
areas, including permit and checklist processes for city,
county, state and federal agencies.
- Design
and construction of more than 30 handcrafted kitchens, numerous
custom interiors, specialty cabinets and commercial fixtures.
- Various
exhibitions of original furniture and sculpture, including
The Northwest Gallery of Fine Woodworking in Seattle, Washington.

Sarah Johnson
is the administrator of Shelterwood Homes, LLC. Working with Terry since
1998, she helps clients select interior finishing materials for their
homes, including flooring, counters and lighting. She handles the company's
contracts and accounts, and designs and develops all the company's media
materials.
Sarah also writes,
designs and produces multimedia materials for museums, interpretive
centers, universities and businesses across the U.S. through her company,
Backporch Media
Production.
